Best almond croissant I've ever had in my life. Flakey and delicious with almond filling between the layers and shaved almonds on top. Husband said the same about his chocolate one, saying he thought it was higher quality chocolate. A bit of a squeeze walking around inside since the tables or close together. Very friendly person at the register who seemed happy to answer our questions.

This place has amazing pastries and very good coffee. I absolutely love their cakes—oh my God, everything is so delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The food is wonderful as well, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in a little corner of France right in Houston. It’s charming, cozy, and perfect for relaxing with coffee and something sweet. I always enjoy coming here, and it’s definitely one of my favorite spots for pastries, coffee, and a lovely experience.

The café is like sidewalk in France outside open air and room inside with wooden tables and lack of Wi-Fi, it encourages conversation and relaxation rather than working on laptops. with music & warm atmosphere. Ground floor easy free entrance for wheelchair. Real expresso, coffee americano cup, almond croissant, croissant with French butter as well pain au chocolate highly praised for their flaky texture, éclair, sandwiches, made with fresh bread in quality flour are excellent... we can find a little slice of Europe Café - terrace Sandwiches: Made on fresh baguettes or croissants, such as the turkey or ham and butter sandwich. Authentic products, European hospitality, and reasonable prices. fast service inside, clean, fresh select food. Place can get very busy, parking in Rice Village is sometimes difficult. Great French café with great food and an authentic old-world atmosphere. Feels just like sitting on a sidewalk in Europe. The coffee and sandwiches, made with fresh-baked bread, are excellent. The French onion soup tasted homemade, and the quiche was baked to perfection. On my first visit, I heard five different languages being spoken—it truly feels like a little slice of Europe. I’ve been coming back ever since.

Delicious! The people who work here are so nice, they made me morning! Also, the size of their large cappuccino is really generous, but more importantly the coffee is really delicious! I also got the baked bread and pastries to go, and they were so nice to offer to keep the pastries in the fridge for me while I was having cuppa coffee there. This is European experience and hospitality for me. Definitely gonna come back. Thank you guys!!

Such an adorable cafe with its old-time charm! perhaps because of its location at the Rice village, its vibe is comparable to some cafe at Princeton or Georgetown, cozy and quietly relaxing and subtly intellectually stimulating by its NYT and WSJ newspapers in a basket Love its humble setting, unlike another big chain cafe or coffee shop’s atmosphere!!!

Stopped in for a flat white and ended up trying the broccoli quiche. It’s the cutest little spot, with newspaper on the tables, wooden chairs, French feel. Food was tasty, coffee was hot and atmosphere was great.

This is such a cute space with old farmhouse decor and delicious food! The pastries and bread from here are very delicious and well made. They have a small menu, but everything we ordered was delicious. I especially recommend the spinach quiche! The only downside to this place (and why it gets only 4 stars) is because it does not have accessible parking. There is a ramp in a different parking lot nearby, but is for a different business and is not for accessible parking. You would have to go far out of your way in a wheelchair to be able to get inside.
